Note from the Author
In reading hundreds of books from the popular management press, I believe they do a relative disservice to crucial skills leaders need, such as delegation. Most gloss over the concept assuming you already are familiar with the nuts and bolts of how to go about it. They explain what delegation is then offer a hearty recommendation that you do it. Time management books do a slightly better job often first encouraging you to understand and set priorities. Then practice delegating those tasks that will free you up for other higher priority work. This is good advice but again the question is, how exactly does the process work?
This is why I was so passionate to write on such a topic, and the very purpose of this book.
